Our website address is http://davesvideoproshop.com. We are a website that publishes content and training on all things video related that may support your business needs. From time to time, we will add offers for sale to the visitors and subscribers to help them advance their online businesses.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it.

The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

We use contact forms to collect your name and email so we may send you newsletters, updated information, or offers from time to time.

Data collected remains on this website and is also added to our Autoresponder accounts for automation purposes.  This is further explained in the third party section below.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to save your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

We do not make and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of visitors to our website.

Facebook Analytics

When someone visits davesmakemoneyblogging.com we use a third-party service through Facebook called Facebook Pixels to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behavior patterns. We do this to track things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site and interactions with the site. This information is processed in a way which does identify Facebook members for purposes of presenting you additional sales information on your timeline.

Section 3 – Who Else We Share Your Data With

Your personal data is not shared with anyone other than what is detailed in this document.

Section 4 – How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Section 5 – What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Section 7 – Where We Send Your Data?

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Emails and names collected will be shared with our third party autoresponder service that we have subscribed to for automating sending messages, newsletters, transactional emails for purchases and updates to purchases, etc.

We use SendGrid, MailChimp, and InstaMailer autoresponder services, You can check out their privacy practices on each of these if needed, we do not control how they handle privacy.

Section 8 – Your Contact Information

Your contact information is held securely within our website database, it is not shared with anyone but the owners of the website.

We do have other associated websites, but we keep lists of subscribers separate and do not share between websites lists of persons nor any of their personal information.

Section 9 – Additional Information

How we protect your data

Our website uses SSL, the hosting uses additional security tools, and we do daily security checks.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption.

Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

What data breach procedures we have in place

If there are any data breaches our daily checks will identify these and we will immediately notify all affected persons, along with corrective measures we have taken and options for the persons.  This will be done via email.

What third parties we receive data from

What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data

We use no profiling with our user data other than segmented lists of users based on their choices and selections they may make for products, services, or other tools that we offer on the website.

Based on your decisions and actions, we will follow up with you via emails or Facebook Messenger for offers or content for your further action.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
